My computer has been attacked by a virus, and I'm not that tech-savvy. Any help would be appreciated.
The virus has wiped out/ infected all my software-- including Adobe Photoshop, three Rosetta Stone programs, and anything else that wasn't the default for my original Dell Vista. It's a Dell Studio laptop, and has worked great up to this point-- I had basic anti-virus protection through ESET.
My roommate tried to watch something off of Yideo.com, the next day I opened my computer and it had several messages saying my computer had been infected, my programs were lost or damaged, etc...
Since then, I've been able to use my computer with regular things-- the internet, and Microsoft Word applications still work fine (though I had to re-load Mozilla Firefox). I haven't found any forums that talk of this virus--- any help/ suggestions on how to restore my software? Thanks!
