Hello,
I have an ATA external hard drive which is now unreadable. Last night I accidentally pulled the plug connected to the drive and since then I get a message "Drive not accessible, directory is corrupted".
Windows cannot recognize the full size of the drive. I have tried data recovery software suggested by one of my friend. The software can read the drive with its full size. This is my first experience of using data recovery software. Please guide me further in recovering my data.

Hi Shen,
Make sure whether the software which you about to use or decided to use after a trial is reliable one or not?
I suggest you to search over the internet about the software that you selected, go through its features and user reviews. If you find some users who are satisfied with the software then go ahead with that.
To be on a safer side, backup all your available data and give a try to the software.
Good Luck!
