Hello,

I have a SCSI tape, which is not working properly. The tape is recognized on boot and is not writing data correctly. I have tried several backup programs, but the problem still continues.

What do I do, to get my data?

Hi Aura!

Are you sure you actually have support for that device compiled into the kernel?

Can you tell exactly the make and model of the tape drive you are using?

Also, please mention the backup programs you have used.
