Hi Guys,

The important files on my external hard drive, are accidentally deleted.

Is there a way to recover the files according to their folder names so that they are not jumbled-up.

I want to recover the files in their respective folders.

Please suggest me a software which can help me achieving this.

Thanks in advance.

It’s sad to hear about it, Dyami.

Well, you can try using any File Recovery Software, which would also recover the files in their respective folders.

Please make sure, you’ll not install the software on to the same partition/drive from which you have lost your data.

Hi Dyami,

Aiyana's post offers good suggestions for you. Google with the key word "File Recovery Software" and you will find many options.

Give a try to Instant File Recovery, which helped me out many a times. Hope it will again proves it worth.

Remember, to keep taking backups, once this problem is solved, so that atleast neither your data is lost nor your work is disrupted.

All the best.

Salvager.
