Hi All,

I have a Raid 5 array on a Dell 1600 running Windows 2k with three 180GB Seagate SCSI drives. Had to replace the power supply, and now it appears that two of the hard drives have failed (drives stopped spinning). Is it possible to recover the data?

Mandy.

Hi Mandy,

Drives not spinning...I guess the drives have experienced some mechanical failure. You need to contact Professional Data Recovery Services for RAID Recovery. You need to send the drives to them and ask them for a free evaluation of the media and know the chances of recovery after completion of the evaluation. Do not experiment on the drives as the chances of recovery can reduce drastically causing permanent damage to data.
