Hi !
I have 2 hard drives on software RAID 1 in Linux. My motherboard have short circuited due to some power problems. Now, I would like to recover data from it. Which is the best way I can do it?
After the recovery, also please suggest me is there any way to rebuild the RAID level?

Hi Fiona,
Don't panic! If your hard drives are fine then you should be able to hook those two drives up to another PC, and get it completely functional and then hopefully you can get atleast the data off the RAID1 that you need.
But before doing anything, you should be secured with your backups because you have increased your chances of data loss with a striped array.
