Hello everyone,

I have a MiniDV camcorder of Panasonic and now I am facing problem with recording and playback and is displaying the error as "Please re-operate after pushing reset button”. It has been repaired many a times but still the problem appears.

May I know if anybody has faced the same problem and know solution for this. Even my warranty has also expired and service seems to be quite expensive?

This is a frustrating situation for me because the camcorder cost over Ł600.

Any advice please I'd be very grateful.

Hi Shen,

The error you are getting is due to supply reel lock on the tape transport. This could be due to a misalignment or malfunction in the tape transport mechanism.

You need repair services, you may contact Panasonic directly or any other hardware service provider.
