Hi everyone,

I had bootable CD with which I was trying to reinstall Windows XP. In my C drive I found 3 GB of free space which I selected to install windows. The Windows system informed me that I would need to format this drive. To format I selected NTFS (quick format) and pressed ‘F’.

The screen showed my 300 GB drive while it changed to the status bar and was formatting it. To stop the formatting process I pulled the power plug to unplug the drives. However, the windows was perfectly installed and shut down, but the drives showing 300 GB which is unformatted is now unusable.

Is there any software that will be able to retrieve my data from the partially-formatted 300 GB drive?
