Hi Guys,

I have a Striped RAID with 2 hard drives. One drive went bad, is there a way to fix this without losing any data?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ebony.

Hi ebony,

Since its RAID 0 you are in trouble as half your data is on the drive that went bad, if the data is important enough there are companies that can help you retrieve data from dead arrays.

You can contact RAID Recovery Services. You need to send the drive to the company and ask them for a free evaluation of the media and know the chances of recovery after completion the evaluation.
