Hi to all,

I think one of my Maxtor Maxline pro hard drives striped in RAID 0 has failed. It had some of my important audio and video files that I really need.

Can anybody recommend me a reliable software for RAID 0 striped arrays or any other solution regarding this?

Thanks.

Hi Barden,

First access both the drives properly to know whether only one drive is dropping out or both. If you are sure that only one of them is dropping out then it may have a basic mechanical or electrical issue.

Utilization of Recovery tools might help you, but the process is quite complex. If you have an experience in using recovery software, then go ahead but if process not performed correctly, you may fail to get the data back.

It all depends on the nature of the failure. If the data is really worth for you, you will need to find pretty reliable recovery program so that you can do the actual recovery.

Good Luck!
