Hi,

My hard drive fails frequently don’t know for what reason and the data in it is very important to me. I am more worried about and somebody told me that RAID helps for this. I don’t have much knowledge about how to build RAID.

Is it necessary that both drives have to be installed at once and the other question is how we know that a drive is failed and has to be replaced?
