Hi,

It’s a Seagate Hard Drive having Windows Vista installed on it and using Microsoft Outlook version 2007.

My Outlook application crashed several times, and then it said that it can’t open the PST file. So I tried using Scanpst.exe, It couldn’t open it and said there might be a problem with the disk then I think I made a mistake, I right-clicked on the file, and tried to revert to an earlier version. There were multiple shadow copies of the file, and I tried reverting back to the most recent one. When it was almost done, it crashed, and then basically deleted the PST file. Once the PST file was deleted, the shadow copies were also gone.

So I think the next thing I did was used a Recovery tool, which basically located deleted PST files on my drive. Then I tried to repair them.  It didn't work.  

Can anyone suggest me software which would help recover my emails out of these PST files.

Laurel, before changing the version you should have taken the backup of .pst file and worked on that instead of making changes directly on the original .pst file.

Anyways, you have now recovered your .pst file…Main work is done…The left out work is recovering email messages from the .pst file.
