Hello Everyone…
I have an 80 GB hard disk, with 2 partitions with FAT and NTFS. I tried to destroy the partitions without loosing any data, but unfortunately the data is gone.
I tried to recreate the partitions with fdisk, but fdisk created the partitions in Linux file system that is ext2. I can’t mount the disk, it says: “mount: wrong file system type, bad option, bad superblock, or too many mounted file systems”.
Please help me!!!!
Greta.

Hi Greta,
Try to change the partition type in fdisk to FAT32 only if you sure that you have the partition boundaries correct, it may help you in some way.
System Rescue CD is another option. Get the rescue CD and use that, it might also help you.
Good Luck!
