Hi Bobby,
There is no need to panic; even I had faced the same problem but the only difference is I had formatted the drive. My friend suggested me a Data Recovery Software, which saved my life.
I would recommend you to use FAT Data Recovery Software, which would help you to recover your data from FAT partition.
Recovering data using the wizard based interface is so easy that even a user with or without any technical know=how can use the above mentioned data recovery software effectively to recover data. Added feature of this software is that it has an enhanced new intuitive interface, with several themes pre-installed.
There is an Evaluation Version of this software which you need to test before going for the full version. Evaluation version gives you a fair idea on chances of the results that the full version might deliver.
Since you have reformatted your drive, you need to first scan for the lost FAT logical drives, which can be done using the option given in the software as Scan for logical drives. Once you have found the FAT partitions, go ahead scanning the required logical drive to recover your data.
Hope this information was of some help for you!
