Hi Jacob,

Would you be clearer and explain me as what exactly happening when you are trying to access the files? Is there any error message being displayed?

Hello Aiyana

Whenever I try to click on the file, it gives a message as access denied. I think the File system is corrupt, so the files are inaccessible.

What shall I do next?

Well, in your case I would suggest you to download the demo version of FAT or NTFS Data Recovery Software depending on the file system of your logical drives.

First use the demo version and evaluate the chances of recovery and then you can download the full version of the software, after purchasing it recover the complete data.
