Hiiiii,

I have an external hard drive which I partitioned it into 40GB and 90GB. The 40GB has FAT32 and 90GB has NTFS. I had some problem in the 40GB partition so I copied all the files to the 90GB partition. Then I went into Windows to reformat the 40 GB to Mac OS extended-journaled. Then, when I tried to start my external hard drive it said the drive was unformatted. I tried it connect it to another pc and was surprised to see that the drive was not recognized either. It seems I have reformatted the whole drive, but it happened in a couple of seconds.

Any solutions will be appreciated!!!

Do not experiment anymore with the drive, as this would create more irrecoverable situation for your data.

You immediately need to contact a professional data recovery services company like Disk Doctors Lab Inc. They offer free evaluation and would not charge a single penny in case you are not satisfied with the recovery results.

Hope you get back your data.
