I formatted my sister's USB flash drive last Sunday without bothering to copy some files/folder and I have used it for my school work twice. Now my sister is mad and she needs those folders were she had some pictures of her wedding. Is there any recovery possible to save my life??

Well, your case of data recovery is not that easy and i think even the cost will be higher because you have overwritten on your drive so the probability is dim. I strictly do not suggest you to use data recovery software but consult data recovery experts.
Many so called overwritten data recovery software are found fallacious in the market and there use may critical your case. Follow the links and i am sure these experts has better solution for you.
