Hi all,

I had left my PC powered on 24x7. Two days ago I noticed it trying to do a memory dump. I also heard a steady clicking sound. My PC had never crashed before. I powered off and powered on and it will not boot. The hard drive just makes a consistent clicking sound.

How can I recover my data off the drive?

I hope you guys can help me out!

Hi Paco,

Surely there is a help for your case. It’s really dangerous enough to test the drive further and try and access the same, as this may create further damages to the hard drive.

Since the drive is having internal problem, you can’t give a try with any data recovery software. So you would need to consult professional data recovery Services Company, who has experience in recovering data from such scenarios.

Generally data recovery services people provide a free evaluation. Once the free evaluation is done, they provide an evolution report which includes cost estimation and list of files that can be recovered. From which you can decide whether to go ahead with the recovery or not.
