Hi All,

There was a power outage while my PC was ON, but was not in use. When power returned PC came ON, I used it all day and was working absolutely fine. Shut it off, next time when I tried to power on, it said it couldn’t start Windows because a windows file was missing. There were no weird noises etc.

I tried to do non-destructive system recovery but it said that the user partition not to be found.

I am unsure whether it is NTFS or FAT32. The main things I care about recovering are all of the jpegs.

Please suggest me as how to recover my files!

Hi Shen!

Is the hard drive detected in BIOS?

What is the version of Windows Operating System on the drive?

This will help to determine the file system on the drive.
