Hi Dino,

If your system specific structures like FAT are affected by bad sector then it is difficult to get data back. Your situation seems to be very critical. Don’t panic…! You can seek help from a data recovery company and get back your lost data.

Hi Salvager...

Thanks for your valuable suggestions. Seeking help from a data recovery company sounds a bit expensive. Is there any other solution for my problem?

I have heard about the data recovery utilities from my friend. He says he has recovered about 90% of his lost data using a utility. Will his software recover my files too???

Can you please suggest me further as to what points should I consider on choosing a data recovery software.

Thanks in advance...!

Dino.
