Hi Aliza,
Aliza, I am glad to here that you are a MBA Graduate. I have just entered my post graduation. Yes, I do understand your feelings and also the value of those photographs.
By reading what you have written above, either your card was accidentally formatted or the global “Delete” command was used.
The good news is that your photographs are probably still on the flash card and recoverable. The "no images found" message appears when your cameras file location start list is empty. This can be due to accidental deletion or through some form of software corruption.
Your photographs can be recovered by using Data Recovery Software i.e., a Digital Media Recovery Software. One of my friends recommended this software, as they have experienced it. This software quickly locates and restores deleted or lost photo that other recovery software could never find. This software not only recovers photos but also recovers lost music and video files. This software has an ability to preview files before recovery (RAW file preview available). It has also got great saving options, like it restores recovered data to CD/DVD and can also save the recover data in compressed form.
Try the software and let me know the results!
