Hi,

It’s a RAID 0 configuration having two Seagate Hard drives each 120GB. RAID 0 is configured through hardware RAID. It was working fine. Last week I reformatted the drive and reinstalled Windows XP. After doing this, I realized that I had forgotten to back up some important data before formatting.

Now I suspect that there are some bad sectors in my hard drives. I did a mistake by not creating the image of the drives and without doing that I tried to recover my data using data recovery software. Because of the continuous read attempts I think the hard drive might have got damaged. The software which I used was of no use.

Will I now be able to recover my data?
