Hello Everyone,
I have a dead hard disk and wonder if some of the data could be recovered. The disk went bad when there was a sudden power failure as I don’t have an UPS. When I rebooted, the hard disk came up with an error that there are some bad sectors and that I should run scan disk.
Upon again rebooting the computer to run scan disk, the disk was not read by the computer. Later when the drive was identified it said the file system is RAW and not NTFS. I really don’t know what is going on behind the scene.
Help me get out of all this. Any suggestions/recommendations for data recovery software will be greatly appreciated.
