Hello…

My Maxtor Hard drive of 40 GB is stuffed with data near the capacity. I use it regularly and last night I was adding some data in to it, but I could not save to it. I opened the drive and for my surprise all my folders and sub folders were empty. I checked out the drive status, but it is showing stuff near capacity and I rebooted my system. Now, the drive is not recognizing by the system.

Is this likely to be some kind of file system corruption occurred on this drive? I am not sure. Can anybody give me any solutions or suggestions?
