Hello there,

I accidentally booted up with one of my drives in my RAID 0 array unplugged. The data cable was out, but not power. Now my computer will not see my drives. The drives contain all important stuffs. One of my friend suggested me to try deleting the array and recreating it. Please suggest me what shall I do now.

Albert.

Hi Albert,

RAID 0 failures are fatal. I don't think you can exactly recover the data even by recreating the array. Since the data is so important I would suggest you not to take a risk trying anything personally.

Contact Professional Data Recovery Services, that provide RAID Recovery to get help. You can ask them for a free evaluation of the media and then can view the details on the chances of recovery once you receive the analysis report from them.Generally recovery services people do not charge for the evaluation, chages are levied once the data has been recovered upto the satisfaction.

All the best.

Salvager.
