Hello!!!

I have a Dell Laptop and on which my son accidentally overwrote the entire folder of digital camera images.  I t seems that his camera began naming files with the same name that were already present. When he dragged the images to the digital camera folder he accidentally overwrote the older image files.

I need those images back. I can’t imagine losing them. Any hope for these files to come back? Is there any program or method to get back them?

Hi Jacy…

There are very less chances for your data to be recovered.

Usually overwritten data can not be recovered because the new data is saved on the same location on the disk as the original one.

Only if the new file is shorter than the original one, you may be able to find raw fragments from the original version manually on the disk, until they are overwritten by other files as well.

You immediately need to consult a data recovery service company, to get the help.
