Hi,

We have Quantum Guardian 4400 Device. Raid 5 has been configured on the device. Last week one of the Hard disk has been failed, so I replaced failed disk with new one, but the RAID 5 failed. RAID rebuild/repair option is not getting enabled. I am getting only the option - Delete array.

Currently all the hard disks are working fine, but it looks like all my data gone. This Box has some important data and no backup also.

Please Help.

Hi Lawrence,

I suggest you to just proceed with rebuilding a new RAID 5 set with your replacement drive. Even if one drive fails in a RAID 5 set, your logical drive should still be accessible. If the RAID is still not working after rebuilding, then contacting Professional Data Recovery Services, for RAID Recovery is your last resort.

All the best.

Salvager.
