Hi Guys,

I have a RAID 1+0 and stripe data is gone. I don’t have any idea how to reconstruct the RAID. It’s a RAID with 4 drives.

Please, suggest me how to recover my data.

Hi Yancy,

You have not mentioned if the failure is a logical or a controller failure. If all of the drives at least power up and appear to be functioning properly then you can start off by creating an image of each drive in your array. From there you can analyze the stripe data. RAID Recovery Software will allow you to recover data but its complicated and time consuming.

Don't panic! Yancy, You can contact RAID Recovery Services. You need to send the drives to them, and they will do it all for you. Ask them for a free evaluation of the media and know the chances of recovery after completion the evaluation. Don't try to open the drive on your own or don't give your drive to any person who isn't qualified to open Hard Drives, as after hit and trial methods, the recovery chances can reduce drastically causing permanent damage to data.
