Hi friends,

Today I tried to add an additional drive to RAID 5 array and created a raised the controller to reconfigure the recent drive to add new HDD.The controller crashed when I started the system. I saw this in windows server 2000 after start process has finished and no drives are indicated.

please some one help me i am facing severe problem

Hi Michael,

Are you sure the problem is with the RAID controller and not with the RAID array? What sort of uptimes have you had before a crash? This will help to diagnose the actual cause and type of failure you are facing.
