I am very much careful about my data and very much concerned about the back up as well especially when it comes to the important images, pictures and my notes. I regularly used CD as my data backup device. I was regular in terms of data backup and I was also regular in checking them for consistency. But since the past eight months I have not used my system because of my study tour and when I came back, to my surprise the Data in the CD due to some reason was inaccessible, I reckon it might be because of some dust layers on the CD which might have caused scratches on the CD, about which am not sure, but somehow the data is not accessible.

If anyone knows software or the procedure or any service provider who can recover the data from this set of CDs, please do reply to me.

Hi Dyami,

Try out a CD Data recovery software. I guess it will workout by recovering your data. Still if you don’t get your data back, go for expert data recovery companies as handing it over to inexperienced companies may leads to permanent data loss.

Now my data is inaccessible, I cannot afford to lose it permanently.

I don't want to try out any data recovery utility as I am feared of further damaging my data. Could you please propose me a reliable data recovery company in specific which can secure my data back!!!
