Hello There,

I was working on a project as soon as I saved the file, I heard the hard drive started making a rythmic clicking noise, and now I can't access it via OS.  I have disconnected the drive's power and data cables and reseated them, same sounds and issues.

Please give me a solution,, my project work is still half done and need to be completed

Thanks
Larry

Larry, I would request you not to experiment anymore with the drive, as this would create more irrecoverable situation for your data. If there is a clicking sound with the drive, it means there is some mechanical fault with the drive causing a clicking sound or it could also be due to broken component.

In such situations, I would suggest you to consult any Professional Data recovery Services Company. With which I am sure you will be able to recover your data.
