Hi there,

I used a tape for backing up my data; the tape contains about 35GB of data (a full backup). The tape was left in Overnight and accidentally a 12GB differential backup was placed on the tape. I need to recover the remaining 23GB of data on the tape.

Can anyone suggest how do I recover my data from the tape?

I'm so depressed guys help me out.

Hi Marina!

I must say you have been very careless to leave the tape drive like that.

Can you please elaborate as to what exactly is the problem. your 23GB is lost, deleted or overwritten. The info provided in the post is not clear enough, to suggest you anything.
