Hi All,
I have a 4mm DAT format DDS tape drive connected to a RISC 6000 aix system in different locations. The tape backup one day and fails the next day. Sometimes, it goes well with backup for a week and fails in next 4-5 days.
When the backup fails I get the errors like tape drive failure, tape operation, backed-up 23 of 25 files, checksum etc. Can anyone tell me the reason for this.
Open for any suggestions!
