There are chances that your pictures are still on the SD memory card and recovery chances are very high.
When delete command is used, majority of the cameras do not actually permanently erase pictures from the memory, instead the camera software simply makes a change in the specified file on the card and tells the camera that the space in which the pictures where deleted is available again to save more pictures on it.
There are some precautionary measures you need to take once you loose the pictures from the memory card, “Do NOT take any more pictures with the same memory card installed. The new pictures that you take will be stored in the same space where your old pictures are located. Once this occurs, there is no chance of recovery as it overwrites the deleted photos with the new photos.
So what I suggest is use Data Recovery Software i.e., a Digital Media Recovery Software and recover your deleted pictures from the memory card. You need to just connect your memory card to a healthy system where the software is installed and proceed with the recovery process. This software can recover data from all camera flash memory cards including Compact Flash Card (CF), Smart Media Card, Secure Digital Card (SD), Multi-Media Card (MMC), XD Picture Card (XD), Micro Drive, Sony Memory Stick (Duo, Pro), as well as removable storage including Zip disk, USB drives and Hard drives.
Well, try the software and let me know the results.
