Virus is a spiteful program code that causes damage to the computer system. Viruses are very dangerous because they run against the users wish and cause disasters in the computer system. All computer virus are man-made and they attach to the computer boot information or other applications and halt the system. Virus includes different types like:

  • Trojan Horse
  • Worms
  • E-mail virus.

A computer can pick a virus when a normally seeming file is copied from a diskette or download it from the internet. Viruses are the best helpers to the system hacker. Virus replicates itself and they are hard to detect, easy to spread and difficult to remove. However, anti-virus softwares are designed to protect computer system from virus invasion.
