Spindle is the rotating hub of the hard disk drive. It is the structure
on which the hard disk rotates at high speed to facilitate read/write
actions to be performed. In other words, Spindle is the drives center
shaft on which the hard disk platters are mounted for easy rotating of
the hard disk.
