Data Recovery Glossary > RAID 10

RAID 10 is termed as stripped array of mirroring. It is the combination of RAID 0 and RAID 1. In RAID 10 a set of drives is combined into an array and the stripped array is then mirrored to another identical set of stripped drives. It provides the benefits of fault tolerance and improved performance. Despite of being expensive RAID 10 is best for multi-user and server systems.
