Kilobyte is a unit of measuring computer memory, disk space or document size. Approximately kilobyte is one thousand bytes. Speaking about accuracy kilobyte is 1,024 bytes. Abbreviated as K, KB, Kbytes, kilobyte is just an expression used to describe the storage capacity or amount of data. However kilobyte is often estimated as 10 to the 3rd power.
