Denial of Services Attack is a method used to deny the access of a web-site. In this method the web server purposely overload the server's resources with valid ones to deny the access to a computer. Denial of service attack is executed using the DOS tools and leading to an unexpectedly poor performance.

The systems connected to the internet or any external communication media Denial of Services attack. Denial of service attack is not done with the intention of data theft or data corruption. The major types of Dos attack are:

  • Viruses
  • Physical attacks
  • Teardrop Attack and many more.
