Booting is the process of starting or restarting a computer. When the
computer is turned on it executes the software that loads and starts the
computer's operating system and prepares it for use. In other words booting
is loading the operating system into the computer's primary memory, with
instructions needed for the computer to operate.
Booting are of two types namely, cold boot and warm boot. Cold boot is
when the computer is first turned on and warm boot is when the computer
is restarted.
