Hello…
I wanted to resize one of my partitions because I had created it too small. It’s a Linux reiserfs partition and I resized it using PartitionMagic. I was happy thinking I have done everything perfectly.
When I went to boot, I realized I have totally messed up with partitions and cannot boot anymore. However I can my Windows partition via and can read and see my data is still there, but not able to access it. I don’t want to reformat the drive.
Can any data recovery software help me…
Laurel.

Hello Laurel,
Using data recovery software to fix your problem has the risk of destroying your data. It doesn't mean that there is no chance of getting data back. You can use any reliable software to access your data, but to be on safer side try to make back up of all your important data on CD or DVD's.
Once you backed up your data you can download robust and free software from the website and try to access your data.
All the best!
