Hello!

My 500 GB external hard drive NTFS formatted crashed recently the cause is not identified. I tried using various programs but could not fix the problem.

I took the hard drive of the external case, tried connecting it internally through SATA and noted the following:

•  Drive is not shown in My Computer and Disk Manager
•  Device Manager identifies the drive.

I think I have every option but failed to solve the problem. Can anyone suggest what I can do to get my data back.

Please HELP!!!

Sani.

Hi Sani,

Try using the drive as a slave in another working system. If your drive is identified, then you copy all your data onto a new hard drive.

If the above mentioned solution does not work out. Seek help from a professional data recovery service company.
