What is RAID?
RAID is Redundant Array of Independent Disks. It is combination of hard
disk drives which are linked together for higher performance. It provides
uninterrupted access to the data when a drive fails; the parallel drives
help to increase the performance of the system.
The Raid is commonly used in servers which manages network resources.
RAID helps storing the same data in different places and this helps to
access the data even when there is a Hard Disk failure.
