What is Multiple Drive Failure?

Multiple Drive Failure is a situation where the drives in an array fail simultaneously at the same time. In the raid system all the drives experience higher level of stress and fail.

The raid system being continuously employed to many functions other than read and write functions decreases the reliability and the raid encounters high level of stress which leads to multiple drive failure. The multiple drive failure leads to data loss in a high proportion.
