What is meant by NTFS encryption and security?

NTFS encryption is a file system which has built-in encryption functionality, which gives great security enhancement along with file permission. This helps in saving the files from unauthorized access to a file, when the system is working on a network there is are many chances of accessing the files and the data being stolen or destroyed. The NTFS encryption system helps from the data not being stolen or destroyed.

NTFS security is a consistent file system which helps in access to the data which is very sensitive or confidential. This system helps to access the data by administrative passwords and without which the file cannot be accessed. The security system works in such a way that without password the file is unreadable and is being protected from unauthorized access.
