and off-line back-up?
Online backup is a service that provides the user an online system for
taking backup and storing files. Online service providers are companies
which provide software for the clients for taking backup of the data,
the clients copy, compress, encrypt and then send it to the backup service
providers for the data to the stored.
Offline backup storage is a process when the online exchange services
are stopped all the outstanding operations are immediately committed to
appropriate database. Now the exchange takes place on an offline system
no client will submit or access the exchange system. The offline backup
job is performed while the information stored is not accumulated; this
backup is basically a file level copy of the information store database.
