Installing more RAM

Installing more RAM into the system will prevent the system from accessing the hard disk as cache and thereby reducing the chances of data loss. Installing the number of RAM is determined by the number of RAM slots a system hold. An average computer with 128MB to 256MB of RAM is recommended.
